Hello! everyone, i will be buying this video card used and it has two notches at the terminal of the card, instead of having one notch at the terminal like most pci cards, i ask the guy that selling it, if he knew if it was for a PCI slot or AGP slot and he didn't know, Does some PCI video cards have two notches at the terminal? Thanks and God Bless!|||G'day
Unfortunately you did not mention the brand of the video card that you intend to buy, since it is easier to check the manufacturer's website to find it out, based on the model.
However, as a golden rule, PCI slot video cards have only 1 notch. AGP slot video cards have more than 1 notch (at least 2, 3 for AGP2).
Hope this helps. Good Luck :)|||I Think Some Do, To Allow For S-Video....But Not Possitive.|||why don't you check vendors website ..........|||this should help|||A PCI card looks like this contact wise
I IIII I III III IIIII IIII IIII II I I IIIII NOTCH II IIII II
PCI ONE NOTCH|||i think VGA cards is for AGP slot whatever notches it have. cause AGP stands for Accelerated Graphic Port.|||you can do it very simply, if its a PCI slot, then it fits in the white slot in your mother board and the distance between the connector and the start of slot is short, if its AGP then the distance is more and it fits in a brown slot usually comes as the first slot in ur Motherboard.
