I have a WinTV Card in my computer, but don't use it. It's a PCI or PCI-E slot, and was wondering if I could just take it out and replaced it with a video card. I currently have a crap BFG 6200GT OC 256MB, but it's an 8x AGP card.|||If you have an AGP video card then you definitely don't have, a PCI-Express X16 slot which is what you need for newer video cards. And it wouldn't make any sense to get a regular PCI card, as AGP is faster, you can however get a better AGP card.|||NO, you have AGP slot - no PCI-e support on the motherboard. There are some nice AGP cards but they don't reach the standards of PCI-e card.
You have two choices, rebuild your computer with new motherboard, CPU, memory, and video card with PCI-e support. Or replace with new system. It is good time to upgrade to Windows 7. The XP is going to be dead by end of year with no security updates.
